BJ Penn is Down for 5 Rounds, Just Wants More Money
Even as BJ Penn-Nick Diaz was being promoted to a categorical eventuality of UFC 137, Diaz’ tutor Cesar Gracie was already championing for a five-round categorical event. UFC President Dana White has insisted that a hitch would sojourn a 3 rounder as that was what a strange agreement was for.
“There’s no contractual requirement for anyone to do 5 rounds during this point. They both sealed hitch agreements for 3 rounds, and there’s no approach they could make it happen, though we’ve already concluded to it, and if B.J.’s stay agrees to it, we consider it would be good for a fans,” Gracie told MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday.
BJ, for his part, would be peaceful to take a quarrel “to a subsequent level,” though stated:
“I wish to be compensated accordingly and that’s it. I’m some-more than peaceful to do a five-round fight. If Dana wants a five-round fight, only give me a call and we can put it together right now.
We should know before a week is out what a UFC skeleton to do.
